At Art Explorers we use a combination of mixed media, nature, mindfulness and art history to help kids get in touch with their inner creativity, try new things, and express themselves in a fun and challenging environment. Come explore with us!
CLASSES
Art & Nature
Tuesdays (4pm-5pm); $90 per six-week session
In our Art & Nature class (1st-4th graders), we explore mindfulness & creativity tools, create nature journals, learn some artist stories, and make nature-based art including flower faces, leaf mobiles, and mosaics.
Art Around the World
Wednesdays (4pm-5:30pm); $110 per six-week session.
In Art Around the World (4th-7th graders), we explore mindfulness & creativity techniques, learn artist stories in cultural & historical context, experiment with different mediums, and create art such as block prints, mandalas and weaving.
Film Club for Kids
One Saturday night per month; $20 per child includes film, discussion and movie snacks.
Join us one Saturday night per month as we explore film as a form of artistic expression. Discussion surrounding each kid-friendly (ages 7-13) film include the movie making process, character development and storytelling.

ABOUT ART EXPLORERS
We know a lot of adults don’t think of themselves as “artists,” or that many of us are too busy to find the time to be creative. But the truth is, most of us simply lost touch with our inner artists somewhere along the way, believing that we had to be fine artists to be creative. Not so! One of the first things we teach kids is that everyone can be an artist and that art isn’t restricted to perfect drawings or paintings. At Art Explorers, we provide a designated time & space for your child to connect to their creativity each week and to develop tools for artistic self-expression and appreciation. We hope your kids will come explore with us!
